These terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions") govern the use of www.gleammaids.com (the "Site"). This Site is owned and operated by Gleam Maids LLC. This Site is an online booking platform for cleaning services.
By using this Site, you indicate that you have read and understand these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them at all times.
Intellectual Property
All content published and made available on our Site is the property of Gleam Maids LLC and the Site's creators. This includes, but is not limited to, images, text, logos, documents, downloadable files, and anything that contributes to the composition of our Site.
User Contributions
Users may post the following information on our Site:
Photos;
Videos; and
Public comments.
By posting publicly on our Site, you agree not to act illegally or violate these Terms and Conditions.
Accounts
When you create an account on our Site, you agree to the following:
You are solely responsible for your account and the security and privacy of your account, including passwords or sensitive information attached to that account.
All personal information you provide to us through your account is up to date, accurate, and truthful, and you will update your personal information if it changes.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you are using our Site illegally or if you violate these Terms and Conditions.
Sale of Services
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of services available on our Site. The following services are available on our Site:
One-Time Home Cleaning Services
Recurring Home Cleaning Services
The services will be paid for in full upon the completion of the service.
We reserve the right to modify, reject, or cancel your order whenever necessary. If we cancel your order and have already processed your payment, we will issue a refund equal to the amount you paid.
Commitment to Recurring Services
Customers who sign up for recurring cleaning services with an introductory discounted rate agree to a minimum commitment of three (3) cleanings (or otherwise stated via quote/call/text). If a customer cancels before completing the required three (3) cleanings, Gleam Maids LLC reserves the right to charge the full price for the initial cleaning, and the customer agrees to pay the difference between the discounted rate and the standard one-time cleaning rate. Failure to complete the commitment does not entitle the customer to a refund.
If a customer attempts to cancel their payment method to avoid this charge, Gleam Maids LLC reserves the right to pursue collection efforts, including but not limited to engaging a collection agency and reporting the delinquency to credit bureaus.
Pricing & Scope of Work
Customers are encouraged to provide photos of the areas requiring cleaning before the scheduled service. If no photos are provided and the actual cleaning requirements exceed the originally estimated scope, additional charges may apply based on the additional time and effort required. Overtime rates will apply if the cleaning extends beyond the estimated time.
If our cleaning team is unable to complete the service in a single visit due to the job exceeding the scope and their existing schedule, Gleam Maids may schedule a follow-up cleaning at an additional charge to finish the job.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
We understand that plans can change. However, to efficiently manage our scheduling and staff availability, the following policies apply:
Cancellations or reschedules made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment will not incur any charge.
Cancellations or reschedules made within 24-48 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur a $40 fee.
Cancellations or reschedules made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will be charged 100% of the service fee.
If we arrive at the scheduled appointment and cannot gain access to the property, or if the customer is not available, this will be considered a same-day cancellation, and 100% of the service fee will be charged.
If we arrive and the customer presents an entirely new set of needs and asks, and we cannot perform these tasks and/or they do not fall under our cleaning checklists, customers will still be required to pay a cancellation fee of $50 if they refuse services or request to cancel on the spot.
Dissatisfaction and Service Issues
If a customer is unhappy with the service, they must notify Gleam Maids via writing, text, or call to express dissatisfaction. Customers must provide supporting photo/video documentation of any cleaning issues before the end of the day on the day of cleaning. Depending on the issues and supporting documentation, Gleam Maids may schedule a touch-up cleaning and/or offer a partial credit/discount at Gleam Maids' company discretion.
Gleam Maids conducts a walkthrough with customers after all cleans to ensure 100% satisfaction and mitigate any cleaning issues.
Payments and Authorizations
We accept the following payment methods on our Site:
Credit Card;
Debit Card; and
Direct Debit.
By providing payment information, you authorize Gleam Maids LLC to charge the payment method provided for services rendered, including any applicable cancellation fees or charges for early termination of a recurring service commitment. If payment is declined, we reserve the right to suspend services until payment is received. Unpaid balances may be sent to a collection agency, and non-payment may be reported to credit bureaus.
Subscriptions
Your subscription automatically renews and you will be automatically billed until we receive notification that you want to cancel the subscription.
To cancel your subscription, please follow these steps: We don't charge any cancellation or rescheduling fees as long as we have a 48-business-hour notice Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 11 PM EST. Call Phone Number to cancel your services if needed. ALL RECURRING SERVICES REQUIRE A MINIMUM OF TWO(2) CLEANINGS. A $50 FEE IS IMPOSED IF RECURRING SERVICES ARE CANCELLED BEFORE THE SECOND CLEANING.
Payments
We accept the following payment methods on our Site:

Direct Debit.
When you provide us with your payment information, you authorize our use of and access to the payment instrument you have chosen to use. By providing us with your payment information, you authorize us to charge the amount due to this payment instrument. If we believe your payment has violated any law or these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or reverse your transaction.
Refunds
We provide refunds for services sold on our Site as follows:
We offer NO REFUNDS once the service is completed.
Consumer Protection Law
Where any consumer protection legislation in Georgia applies and cannot be excluded, these Terms and Conditions will not limit your legal rights and remedies under that legislation. These Terms and Conditions will be read subject to the mandatory provisions of that legislation. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and that legislation, the mandatory provisions of the legislation will apply.
Limitation of Liability
Gleam Maids LLC and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of your use of the Site or our services.
Indemnity
Except where prohibited by law, by using this Site, you indemnify and hold harmless Gleam Maids LLC and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of your use of our Site or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.
Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
Severability
If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms and Conditions. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal, and the rest of these Terms and Conditions will still be considered valid.
Changes
These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to how we operate our Site and services. We will notify users by email of changes to these Terms and Conditions or post a notice on our Site.
